Algorithmic Bodies
Set Design
"Algorithmic bodies" is a hybrid dance performance that explores the fusion of body and technology in everyday life. It invites the audience to engage with their relationship to technology.
The piece works with live generated images of the performers. These are then translated again from the digital into the physical space and are found as "body structures" in the space. These serve as mobile seating elements and can be moved by visitors.
Large semi-transparent fabric walls serve as projection surfaces. These can be opened and closed by remote control, so that the spatiality and thus the axes of vision are constantly changing.
