Festung Dresden

audiovisual walkable historic site

In the project "Dresden Xperience" , different characters take visitors with a 360-degree audio guide on a journey to the 16th century, describing events in Dresden at the time. Spatial projections are synchronized with the sound and create an immersive experience in the walls of the fortress of that time.

For the competition i developed an idea for the narration, visual style and visitor guidance with a team at TAMSCHICK MEDIA+SPACE. The task was to make the history of the fortress tangible for visitors on the 1800 sqm in the bastion fortification under the Brühlsche Terrasse in Dresden.
After winning the competition, the project was implemented and an audiovisual, walk-through audio play was designed.
